In Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nathan and Lydia are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters. Their youngest, Jossilyn, entered the world facing an uphill battle — born with oxygen deprivation and given only a slim chance to survive. But Jossie proved early on that she was a fighter. After six challenging weeks in the NICU, she defied the odds and came home.
Her tenacious spirit reminded her family of the fierce and fearless Honey Badger — small, but unstoppable. That’s how their little "Honey Badger” got her nickname.
While Jossie will face challenges ahead, she continues to thrive, surpassing expectations with her grit, courage, and willpower. A huge part of her progress is due to the incredible support system surrounding her — including The Little Light House, a school dedicated to helping children with special needs reach their full potential.
